He came back to Pakistan couple of years back and again joined Pakistan favourite cellular company - Mobilink. He shares some of his local and western expereince with fellow ZUMBEELians.
Syed Umar
Syed Umar is a veteran from the cellular/wireless world with 16+ years experience covering all facets of the wireless technology. Started out his career with Paktel in 1989 then proceeded to USA in 1992 to pursue MS, and subsequently worked for the CDMA technology pioneer Qualcomm for 11 years in various capacities. He returned to Pakistan in 2005 and worked for CDMA/WLL operator Telecard. Syed's also worked as CEO of AKNMTECH, the leading mobile content/VAS company in Pakistan before joining Mobile Network Portability Database as a CTO.
Bilal Hashmi
Mr. Bilal Hashmi entered into telecom industry in 2000. He has got extensive cellular experience with some of the leading telecom names like Mobilink, Ufone & Nortel Networks. Currently he is serving in Ericsson as a National QoS & Optimisation Manager. Today he shares some of his valuable experiences & views with fellow ZUMBEELians.
Omar Rauf
Mr. Omar Rauf has been associated with this industry for last 10 years. Started his career with Intel USA as a Software Validation Engineer, now he works for Pakistan’s Biggest Operator – Mobilink as a Senior Manager – QoS. He had also spent memorable 5 years with Nortel Pakistan before joining Mobilink in 2006.
