Key tasks of software developer
1. Write, modify, and debug software for client applications. 2. Use source debuggers and visual development environments. 3. Write code to create single-threaded or user interface event driven applications, either stand-alone and those which access servers or services. 4. Test and document software for client applications. 5. Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents. 6. Perform coding to written technical specifications. 7. Investigate, analyze and document reported defects. 8. Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects. 9. Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses. 10. Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates. 11. Performs related duties as assigned.
